Who we are
This website is operated by E – PERFORMANCE s. r. o., Cinobaňa 350, 985 22 Cinobaňa, company ID 56935731 (the “operator”). For anything about your personal data, write to Show e-mail address.
What we process and why
We only process what you send us yourself – the dates, number of guests, name, e-mail address, an optional discount code and message in the inquiry form, or what you write to us by e-mail or WhatsApp.
We use it solely to answer you and to arrange your stay (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR – steps before a contract). Inquiries are not stored on the website: they are delivered by e-mail to the host and a confirmation is sent to you. We keep the e-mails for as long as needed for that purpose; booking records are kept for the period required by accounting and tax law.
No cookies, no tracking
This website does not use cookies or tracking tools. If you choose a language, the choice is remembered only in your own browser (local storage) and never leaves your device.
Visitor statistics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits. It works without cookies, does not create profiles and shows us only overall numbers (e.g. pages viewed, countries). Legal basis: our legitimate interest in improving the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Hosting
The website is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc. (USA), which processes technical data such as your IP address and browser type to deliver and protect the site. Cloudflare is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
Google Maps
The map is loaded only after you click “Show the map”. Only then does your browser connect to Google Ireland Ltd., which receives your IP address and may set cookies. By clicking you consent to this (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). See Google's privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
Weather forecast
The summit forecast is requested by our server from Open-Meteo. No information about you is passed to Open-Meteo.
Sending e-mails (Brevo)
Inquiry e-mails, the newsletter confirmation and the newsletter itself are sent through Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, France, EU). Brevo processes your e-mail address and the content of the message on our behalf under a data processing agreement.
Spam protection (Cloudflare Turnstile)
To stop robots, the inquiry form uses Cloudflare Turnstile. It loads only when you start filling in the form and checks technical data of your browser (e.g. IP address); it is not used for advertising. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in protecting the form (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
AI assistant
If you use the AI assistant, your questions are sent through our server to Anthropic PBC (USA), which generates the answers. We do not store the conversation – it disappears when you close the page – and Anthropic does not use it to train its models. Please do not enter personal data such as names, phone numbers or payment details. Anthropic's privacy policy: https://www.anthropic.com/legal/privacy
To prevent misuse we count requests per visitor for a short time using a one-way hash of the IP address, never the address itself. Legal basis: your use of the assistant and our legitimate interest in answering questions (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Booking platforms
If you book through Booking.com or Airbnb, the privacy policy of that platform applies to your booking.
Newsletter
If you sign up for the Tatra letter, we first send an e-mail asking you to confirm (double opt-in). Only after you confirm is your address added to our list at Brevo and you receive your personal discount code. We store your e-mail address, the page language, the time and wording of your consent and your code (Cloudflare Workers KV and Brevo). We send Tatra Escape news and offers at most once a month.
The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw it at any time with one click via the link in every e-mail or by writing to Show e-mail address; we will then remove your address from the list without undue delay. An unconfirmed sign-up is deleted automatically after 7 days.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability and to withdraw consent at any time. Just write to us.
You may also lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority: Úrad na ochranu osobných údajov Slovenskej republiky, Hraničná 12, 820 07 Bratislava, www.dataprotection.gov.sk.
